Urban Park "El Bosque"

Location: Simpson Avenue up to the number 300. Barrio El Bosque.

History of the park: The Urban Park Forest is a private protected area, an ecological reserve, located right in the city of Valdivia, in the Barrio El Bosque, whose owner, Socovesa, has left as a contribution to the conservation, protection and restoration of our native species of flora and fauna. Since 2004 it is administered and managed by the Ecological Lemu Lahuén Committee.

The committee was created in the interest of a group of residents concerned about the environment and manage the administration of the Urban Park Forest, promote conservation and develop in the diverse activities of conservation, environmental education and cultural activities.
